Where can I look for information on a poetic form? I'm looking for form guidelines and history concerning a Rubaiyat.

I did a search in Summon on Rubaiyat and "History and Criticism."

On the left-hand side where it says "Subject Terms" you could choose other terms that might be more related to the kind of information you're looking for.

I also found that Credo Reference links to the resource The New Princeton Encyclopedia of Poetry and Poetics and a definition of "Rubai" the poetic form that the Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám uses.

All of these Library resources can be found on the Library Research Guide for "English"
